It’s Thursday at 6:26 pm. This article—hopefully—will be live Friday at 6:00 am. Here’s the thing, I have no idea what this will be about. So, buckle up. We are going to figure this out together.
Thank you so much for sticking with me. I imagine I’ll be writing more about frogs soon considering I just spent stupid money on a filtration system for the whole animal room so I’m going to be learning as I go—like with everything else I do haha.
Stan. I really enjoy your thought process. I’m sad to hear you haven’t been able to find a church in awhile. You have such a sweet spirit. Please keep on enlightening the world with it!! Love and hugs always!!
Hey man thanks for reading, I’m not really looking for a church to be honest. At least not in the show up on Sunday to a building sense. I spent years traveling to them all over the southeast and it jaded me to the whole enterprise but I still believe in God obviously, I just have a negative opinion of most churches in a corporate sense. That said I do like having conversations about faith with friends and talk to God on my own. I appreciate you reading these.
It took us a very long time to find a church where we felt comfortable and felt we were being fed the word. I’m so glad you have not lost your faith. One of my all time favorite quotes is from Brennen Manning the author of The Ragamuffin Gospel. He said. “The greatest single cause of atheism in the world today is Christians, who acknowledge Jesus with their lips and walk out the door, and deny Him by their lifestyle. That is what an unbelieving world simply finds
unbelievable.”
I try to remember that every day. I never want to turn someone away from Jesus because of what they see in me. Rant over!!! lol 😆
I appreciate that man. Yea I’m looking at these like reps I’ve got to get in. Every week isn’t a home run but every week is a victory if I keep at it. I’ll hopefully keep growing as a writer each time I stretch that muscle.
Thanks bro. Your last one was good too btw. I need to try to write a few extras and give myself a few week buffer but lately they’ve all been crunch time haha. Been writing fiction (or trying) in the background but can’t share that stuff here yet so these weekly ones have been a fun exercise in procrastination and panic lol
Thanks man, that last one iv been working on for a while. It was really for me. I asked myself the question and then started searching the internet for answers. That's what I came up with. What you are doing is a great exercise. It puts you in a tough situation that forces creativity. Your writing is better every week and you are obviously getting faster at it. That's a skill.
I love the passion you have for the animals you write about! Thank you Jess for this week’s prompt.
I look forward to your writing every week. Thank you!

At least you’re learning! I figure the day I quit learning is probably the day I die.
Keep grinding.
Thank you sir! Will do.

Your commitment to your craft is honorable. Nice work man. I can't wait to read what next week offers.
