DudeI love that there's an audio reading of this. I'm gonna have to start doing that for my posts.

It’s not something you can add I don’t think. I don’t know what the rule is but I think it has something to do time on app or subscribers I don’t know I emailed help about it once when I didn’t have it and one day it appeared.

Dude. Great words as always. But the pond? That sucks!!! (Even though it’s funny).

I mean people do what I did on purpose but I just don’t love it, it’ll settle and diffuse as it rains no biggie

I needed a good laugh this morning. Now I know why I see blue ponds when I’m driving around. Didn’t know why, now I do!! I’m glad it worked for you. Friends had a koi pond. Heron ate $600 bucks worth!! They now have a covered koi pond!! lol Love and Hugs!!

Luckily I just have goldfish and local minnows / mosquito fish so there’s a surplus and they’re cheap haha

Living in the DC area it is hard not to reflect on this story in the context of the reflecting pond for the Lincoln Monument. It was emptied, the bottom and sides painted blue, refilled and immediately became re- infested with algae. Nothing we do seems to turn out right or good. It is really hard to be optimistic in the current state of the country and the world. Goodness knows we need something to say “we needed this” right now Hopefully we will have a green heron siting soon But like you I will not give up hoping and seeing as much positive as possible and that is what this story says to me .

I saw a Trevor Noah special on Netflix recently, Joy in the Trenches— I think it was called. In it he discusses celebrating the small but important things in life in these difficult times. He responds to those who say we shouldn’t celebrate anything given the state of the world. He said, “Just because the big is happening, doesn’t mean the small stops.” We all need to think that way. So celebrate the rain and green heron. Again, I think that is what you are telling us.

You got it! I’m trying to see good despite the bad right now, taking small wins
