Sabbatical
I feel like this has been a long time coming, and instead of resting i’ve tried to just thug it out week after week. My articles have suffered, readership has dropped off, and truthfully, I think it’s time for a break. So, this will be my last post for a while.
I need to collect my thoughts, make new adventures, and get my head straight. I’m not quitting, I’m just putting a pause on these weekly posts—not sure how long it’ll take, but when I come back, I’ll have new stories and hopefully a fresh perspective to share.
To those of you who’ve stuck with me week in and week out for the last 3.5 years, thank you. I’ve shared over 177 stories with you thus far. Here’s hoping the best is yet to come. Again, to those of you who’ve kept me going far longer than I could have on my own—and you know who you are—I sincerely appreciate your constant comments and encouragement.
I’ll be back soon—ish.
Side note…Here’s a poem I’m working on for my new book I’m calling “Standing On a Fire Ant Mound.”
