It’s graduation season. I’ve been seeing many people share photos of their loved ones walking across high school and college stages to receive diplomas. This week, I got to see my oldest niece receive her high school diploma. I even gifted her with a toad I caught on the football field, where we took photos with her afterwards. I mean, I’ve got to stay on brand, right?
Time travels so fast!!! I remember when it seemed like a year took forever. As a little girl of 7 I thought Christmas would never get here @ almost 70, seems like I am putting the Christmas stuff away, closing the door. Before I know it I am opening the door to take it out again!!! Time definitely flies! I really enjoyed reading this!
I graduated in 1973 and it seems like yesterday! This world does move so fast. Kids, then grandkids, then what next?? Technology is getting to the point of scary for me. AI is real. Data centers sucking up energy. I just have to remember God is in control! Thanks for another great read! Love and Hugs!
I was slapped in the face with a similar realization of time and place yesterday. The Movie Back to the Future was released in 1985 (the year I graduated high school), and the main character went back to 1955. If the movie were released today, we would go all the way back to...1996. The year Captain Dummar graduated from the SF Qualification Course. The world moves fast.
